As DZOFILM's third zoom series, the Catta 70-135mm T2.9, cover most of the basic focal length in diverse shooting projects. The golden focal lengths of 70-135mm enable cinematographers to create cinematic images without sacrificing time in lens replacing.

DZOFILM's top full-frame Catta cinema zoom lenses are now available in both PL and EF mounts. The 70-135mm T2.9 lenses offer a wide range of focal lengths and come standard with a black metal shell. Additionally, both lenses have a maximum aperture of T2.9 and a minimum aperture of T22. In response to the growing demand for large-format cameras, the lenses can cover Vista Vision (46.5mm) sensors.

Real World Authentic Color Reproduction.
Catta Zoom lenses produce real-world colors on a compact but comprehensive sensor by embracing the design philosophy of natural, original, and authentic. This allows you to take shots that are as realistic as possible, and it makes color-correcting your images easier in post-production. In addition, Catta lenses promise to produce vivid and natural skin tones.

Parfocal Design.
With a parfocal optical design, the DZOFILM Catta Zoom lenses feature reduced focus breathing. As a result, unlike still photography lenses, the focus remains constant when the focal length changes, allowing for zoom racking without losing focus. To set up a shot, you can zoom in as far as you like and set a focus. The image will remain sharp as you zoom out to your desired framing.

Geared Rings, T Stops.
Each cinema lens has an aperture range of T2.9 to T22. DZOFILM uses a 16-blade aperture diaphragm for smooth and round bokeh. The minimum focus distance on both lenses is around 2.5 feet (2.6 feet on the 70-135mm), so you can get some great close-ups with an attractive blurred background. With 270 degrees of travel, the geared focus ring ensures smooth and precise focusing and zooming.

Lightweight Build.
DZOFILM Catta Zoom lenses measure around 7 inches long for the PL mount and around 7.4 inches long for the EF mount. The polycarbonate and glass fiber body of the lenses keeps the weight down. The 70-135mm model weighs approximately 3.77 pounds, and the 35-80mm model weighs 3.6 pounds, making them ideal for handheld, gimbal, or drone shooting due to their lightweight design. In contrast to other Catta versions, these lenses have a distinctive black finish instead of the typical white finish.

Interchangable Mount.

PL and EF versions of the DZOFILM Catta Zoom lenses are now available. The quick-release lens mount can be easily replaced with an E, RF, L, Z, or X mount instead. An LPL-Mount Tool Kit is also available for Vespid Prime and Catta Ace lenses. There is an 80mm front thread size that can be used for adding ND, UV, or other filters.

As light as ever, the 35mm-80mm T/2.9 weighs only 1.53kg. Manage to decrease the weight, we choose to use polycarbonate and glassfiber on this shell with strict tolerance. Extremely portable for changing field of view frequently. These cinema zoom lenses would be a great choice for Live show, indie filmmaking, vehicles shooting, documentaries and gun shooting scenarios with precise parfocal design. And it is easily applicable with gimbal like Ronin s2 and Crane 3s etc. when shot on rapidly moving scenes.
